Goodbye Scotty

Actor James Doohan "beamed up" this morning after a year long battle with Alzheimer's disease. When I was in high school, my father and I met Mr. Doohan at a Star Trek convention, the only one we ever attended. He was very down to earth and spoke with Dad for almost half an hour about everything but Star Trek.

You will be missed.
